Eula Danos Foret, 86, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, August 25, 2007, at 8:40 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Felix Foret; three daughters, Joanne Chauvin, Eugenie Foret, and Mary Foret; one brother, Lloyd Danos; four grandchildren, Rebecca Harris, Felix Foret, Ridley Chauvin, and Simone Chauvin; and three great-grandchildren, Blake Chauvin, Ryan Harris, and Tanner Harris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Camille J. Foret, Sr.; her parents, Armond and Eugenie Guichet Danos, Sr.; one son, Camille Foret, Jr.; six brothers, Donald, Waul, Norman, Armand “T-Mon”, Edmond, and Hughes Danos; and one sister, Cornelia Danos.

Eula was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Hilary. She was a retired teacher, who taught for 20 years in Lafourche Parish.

Visitation is Thursday, August 30, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
