Eulah Gautreaux Cadiere, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday December 28, 2008 at 6:24 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances Tivet and husband Donald, Carol Bergeron and husband Carroll, and Brenda Henry and husband Bruce; sons, Johnny Cadiere and wife Susan, Larry Cadiere and wife Sherrie, and Alan Cadiere and companion Amanda Wilson; sisters, Beulah Darcey and Gloria Bergeron; brothers, Lawrence Gautreaux Jr. and Leroy Gautreaux; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey J. Cadiere; parents, Lawrence Gautreaux and Clothilde Boudreaux Gautreaux; and sister, Betty G. Triche Pitre.
She was a homemaker and parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the East Park Ladies Auxiliary and the Holy Rosary Altar Society. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed reading and playing scrabble
She was buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
