Eva C. Bergeron, 90, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, September 12, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Spahr and her husband Keith; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Man” Bergeron; her parents, Ernest and Myrtle Cunningham, Sr.; two brothers, Ernest Cunningham, Jr. and Junius Cunningham; one sister, Louis Naquin; and one grandchild.
Eva was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society and Catholic Daughters. She was a retired cook at Raceland Upper Elementary School, where she worked for 30 years.
Visitation is Friday, September 14, 2007, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
