Eve Usea Loupe, 75, a native and resident of Kraemer, La., died Saturday, July 19.


She is survived by her husband, Brand Loupe; five sons, Kendall Loupe and wife, Rita, Kerry Loupe and wife, Debra, Karl Loupe and wife, Janet, Kurtis Loupe and wife, Tanya, and Kyle Loupe and wife, Gwen; four daughters, Cheryl Bourgeois and husband, Glen, Carol Loupe, Cathy Cortez and husband, Michael, and Christie Rodrigue and husband, Allen; three sisters, Lyndel Legendre, Stella Naquin and Mary Anne Hotard; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarise Kraemer Usea and Oveil Usea; and five brothers, Leroy, Earl, Joseph, Herbert and Landry Usea.

She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, July 21, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Kraemer with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
