Evelyn Exnicious Leonard, 90, a native of Bayou Black, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, August 12.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Bourgeois, Betty Porche and Linda Arceneaux; one sister, Lonida Pitre; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce Leonard; her parents, Louis Exnicious and Eva Vallot Exnicious; one son, Bobby Ray Leonard and wife Geraldine; one granddaughter, Amy Leonard Matherne; and four brothers, Louis Jr., Irby, Luby and Richard Exnicious.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Anthony Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
