February 19, 2012Eves Joseph Naquin, 93, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.
Mr. Naquin was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and American Legion. He loved the outdoors and worked his whole life as a farmer. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
He is survived by his daughters, Vesta Authement, Carolyn Guidry, Karen (Joe) Fleming and Connie (Jason) DeVault; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Naquin; parents, Henry and Fabiola Naquin; son, Terry Naquin Sr.; brothers, Dennis, Harry, Westley and Lynus Naquin; sisters, Doris Rodrigue and Bessie Dupre; and granddaughter, Kristy Guidry.
Interment was at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
