August 1, 2012Faye Dean Hawthorne Martinez, 79, a native of Schaal, Ark., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 4:53 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012.
Mrs. Martinez was a parishioner of First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son, David Martinez; daughter, Angela (Patrick) Arabie; brother, Wally Hawthorne; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Martinez; parents, Charlie and Winnie Hawthorne; son, Michael Martinez; and brother, Gene Hawthorne.
Burial was at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
