Documenting wells leads to cleanup

September 29, 2011Faye Prejean Rochel, 72, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died, Monday, Sept. 26, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Chad Rochel; mother, Levie Prejean; sisters, Margaret Benoit, Bernice Galiano and Karen Prejean; and brothers, Scuddy, Henry Jr., David, Glen and Keith Prejean.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvyn Rochel; father, Whitney Prejean Sr.; and brothers, Lawrence and John Prejean.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Thibodaux Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial was at Gibson Methodist Cemetery. (Landry’s)
