Floyd Francis Falgout Sr., 90, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.
Mr. Falgout was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a parishioner of Lady of the Rosary Church and a member of the Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rena Mae Falgout; sons, Floyd Jr. (Jo-Ann), Frankie (Angela) and Melvin (Teresa) Falgout; daughters, Elizabeth (Cameron) Plaisance, Victoria (Mitchell) Griffin, Darlene (Nicky) Richardelle and Irene (Mike) Lombas; sister, Hazel Matherne; half-sisters, Cheryl Falgout and Genevieve Melancon; half-brother, Wiley Falgout; 23 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilkin Falgout; mother, Victoria Melancon; brother, Lloyd Falgout; sister, Shirley Garibaldi; half-brother, Roland Falgout; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose. (Falgout)
