Frank E. DeLeon Sr., 84, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.
Mr. DeLeon served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Maria DeLeon; sons, Frank Jr. (Linda), Hector (Melanie) and Bobby (Amy) DeLeon; daughters, Olga (Allen Sr.) Gauthreaux, Nora (Terry) Vega, Velma (Bruce) Guillot, Cynthia (Dana) Bourgeois, Mary (Tino) Barrera and Corina Cruz; two brothers; two sisters; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Herlinda DeLeon; and son, Gilbert DeLeon.
Burial was at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland. (Falgout)
