Freddie Mae Taylor Canuteson Breaux, 91, a native of Simmesport, La., a former resident of Houma, La., and resident of Camp Wood, Texas, died Monday, April 4, 2011.

Mrs. Breaux was a member of Christ Baptist Church for many years and a member of the Barksdale Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Oscar Taylor and Robert Bonnette; daughters, Sandra (J. Fort) Smith, Patricia (James) Vice and Karla (Robert) Spinella; sons, Albert (Patsy) Canuteson and Phil (Amy) Breaux; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, A.C. Canuteson and Robert Breaux; parents, Oscar Taylor and Eva Brulte Taylor Bonnette; stepfather, Ettie Bonnette; siblings, James Taylor and Daisy Lee Savona; one son, Robert Breaux; one grandson, Albert Canuteson III; and one great-grandson, August Smith.

Pallbearers were Adrian Bonnette, Al Canuteson, Phil Breaux, Jay and Shawn Smith, Carey Vice, Brian Canuteson and Blaine Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers were Mecklen Taylor, J. Fort Smith Jr., James Vice and Robert Spinella.

She is interred at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Nelson of Camp Wood)
