Freddie “Junior” Bruce, 66, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012.
Mr. Bruce was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Eric and Jessie Bruce; daughter, Karen Bruce; brother, Perry Bruce; sisters, Josephine and Nora Gisclair, Anna Billiot and Jane Bruce; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bruce; parents, Freddie and Eve Bruce; son, Charles Bruce; and grandchildren, Kelly and Richard Bruce.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. (Samart-Mothe)
