BOEM demands ‘worst case scenario’ planning
September 28, 2010Gabrielle Rachelle Hebert, 17, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010.
She was a student at Vandebilt Catholic High School where she was a cheerleader. She loved music, dancing and fashion and participated in numerous sports including tennis, volleyball and swimming. She had a great passion for her friends. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She is survived by her parents, Todd (Rachel) Hebert; sister, Madeline Hebert; grandparents, Ronnie and Judith Morvant and Charles and Amanda Babin; great-grandparents, Roberta Antrim and Odette Hebert; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving family members.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.
