November 15, 2010Geneva “Jan” Marie Autin Anselmi, 77, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010.
Ms. Anselmi was a member of the Pentacostals of South Lafourche. She was a retired Wal-Mart employee and her hobbies included family, friends, church, baking, recipe collecting and football.
She is survived by her sons, Elrige (Rhonda) and Pookie (Lucy) Anselmi; daughters, Tarina (John) MacNichol and Janine (Dale) McCauley; sisters, Mavis “Mrs. Garrison” Anselmi and LouAnn “Mrs. Arnold” Dupre; brother-in-law, Clayman Anselmi; nine grandchildren, Charles (Holly) Anselmi, Uriah (Becky) Lasseigne, Brandy Cheramie, Brady Anselmi, Gabrielle Cheramie, Jazzie Lasseigne, Cody (Telina) Anselmi, and Erin (Jeremy), Holmes and Casey McCauley; six great-grandchildren, Chase and Chastity Anselmi, Joey, Trey and Laree’ Dantin and Mia Crochet; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alex Anselmi Jr.; parents, Ernest Jr. and Rosina Gisclair Autin; one brother, Johnny (Mary) Autin; and three sisters, Earline Barrios, Lorina Autin Callais and Netla Autin Angelette.
She is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetary in Larose, La.
