August 5, 2010Geraldine Carlos Duet, 77, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010.
Mrs. Duet was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Alter Society, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Ward 7, Citizen Club and Louisiana Cerebral Palsy Association.
She is survived by her husband, Noles C. Duet; sons, Daniel (Elizabeth) and Jude (Katherine) Duet; brother, Ferrel (Linda Lou) Carlos; brother-in-law, Reggie (Mable) Authement; sister-in-law, JoAnn Carlos; seven grandchildren, Lance, Lee (Sally), Stephen, Lainey (Travis), Ryan (Beth), Zachary and Grant; and five great-grandchildren, Seth, Luke, Laci, Brad and Megan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bartholemew and Valerie Babin Carlos; two daughters, Marla and Johnette Duet; two brothers, Albon Carlos and Harvey (Thelma) Pitre; and three sisters, Gail Carlos Authement, Mavis (Jean) Pitre Charpentier and Merdeline (Ruffin) Pitre LeBlanc.
She is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
