Local author brings soulmate research to print
August 2, 2010Gillis “DoDo” Joseph Naquin Sr., 75, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Melva Dupre Naquin; son, Marty (Linda) Naquin; daughters, Sandra (Felton) Rodrigue, Donna (Jerry Sr.) Naquin and Tammy (Percy) Sevin; brothers, Anthony (Joyce) and Nelson (Rowlanda) Naquin; sisters, Wilma (Andrew) LeBouef, Shirley (Elgin) Domangue, Gladys (Eulah) Trahan, Verley (Louis) Authement, Julienne (Tores Jr.) Domangue, Nellie LeBouef and Cecile (Milton) Foret; 19 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard James Sr. and Cecile LeBouef Naquin; two sons, Gillis Jr. and Kevin Sr. Naquin; one daughter, Debbie Ann Naquin; four brothers, Whitney Sr., Wilbert Sr., Carlton Sr. and Richard Jr. Naquin; one sister, Ethel Authement; and two great-grandsons, Jaelin Naquin and Blade Cole
He is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
