State’s higher-education plot line is very predictable

Gladys Wiemer Dupre, 84, a native of Waco, Neb., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.
Ms. Dupre was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church and was an active member until her death. She was the bookmobile driver for the Terrebonne Parish Library for 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Susan) Dupre; daughters, Nileen (Leslie) Nemeth, Charlene (Michael) Shroyer and Bonita Dupre; brothers, Roy (Gladys) and Richard (Eleanor) Wiemer; sisters, Pearl Heuerman and Pauline Riegel; 14 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
