Gladys Esponge Tauzin, 86, a native of Golden Meadow, La. and resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016.
She loved playing poker keno, sewing and baking and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary with the American Legion where she was a color bearer.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Tauzin Sr.; sons, Frank (Glenda) Tauzin Jr., Louis (Juanita) Brunet and Henry Brunet; daughters, Lena Brunet (companion Daniel Naquin) and Anna (Rex) Matherne; brothers, George, Ramise, Ernest, Clifton and Robinson Esponge; sister, Lolita Gisclair; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
