Gloria Provost, 71, a native of Jeanerette, La., and resident of Birmingham, Ala., died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Reginald Sr., Rev. Ellis, Leonard and Joshua Sr. Provost; daughter, Yolanda Lavine; brother, Raymond Sam Sr.; sisters, Martha Casimere, Annie Keal, Elvina Patin and Victoria Olivier; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Jeanerette with services to follow. Burial will be at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. (Jones)
