Harold J. Dufrene, 74, a native and resident of Gheens, La., died Monday, June 24, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosita Dufrene; sons, Scott, Bryan (Rachel), Danny (Rachel) and John (Desiree) Dufrene; daughter, Staci Dufrene; brothers, Herman, Harold and Jesse Jr. Dufrene; sisters, Marion Walton and Janet Chiasson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Sr. and Eva Dufrene; brother, Edmond Dufrene; and sister, Mona Fonseca.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, at St Anthony Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Hilary of Poitiers Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
