Woodburn residents want stop sign removed

Harry Russell Walters, 62, a native of Evansville, Ind., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.
Mr. Walters was a retired 1st Sergeant 82nd Airborne U.S. Army. He served his country in the jungles of Vietnam, and continued his military service for 21 years before retiring. He had a wonderful marriage and relationship with his wife and children, and was always willing to work at the church and homes of those in need.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sue Walters; son, Scott (Michelle) Walters; daughter, Deena (Keith) Nobles; sisters, Beverly Paul, Debra Nobles and Lisa Layton; brother, Mike Walters; and four grandchildren.
Burial was at House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
