Harvey Joseph Dufrene, 76, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, February 27, at 9 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Cheramie Dufrene; daughters, Dinah Collins and companion Rick Flook, Rhonda Parr and husband Daniel, and Lotta Pitre and husband Kevin; brother, Harris Dufrene; sister, Peggy Charpentier; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orest and Alcida Dufrene; brothers, Howell, Henry and Herman Dufrene; sister, Gernice Bruce; and son-in-law, Ronald Collins.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post 315 of Galliano, La. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
