Hayes J. Portier Sr., 80, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 9, 2012.
He is survived by his sons, Hayes Jr. (Kitty) and Troylee (Caroline) Portier; sister, Ruby Bernard; grandchildren, Holly and Joshua Portier, Sabrina Champagne and Kayla Guise; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his first wife, Genevieve Portier; second wife, Mary Portier; parents, Seville and Lillian Portier; brothers, Alvin, Lawrence, Delvin and Junius Portier; and sisters, Mae Hebert and Virginia Bergeron.
Burial was at St. Anthony Cemetery. (Falgout)
