Local troops brace for life away from home
January 6, 2010Helen Marie Rodrigue Dupre, 68, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Anthony Dupre; sons, Barry (Kayla), Faren (Rhonda), Chad (Marlene) and Brad (Danielle) Dupre; nine grandchildren, Jade, Paul, Tess, Bryce, Morrie, Kai, Derek, Dylon and Brett; sisters, Elaine (Willie) Dugas, Isabelle (Rudy) Robichaux and Sally (Raymond) Naquin; sister-in-law, Elsie Rodrigue; and brothers, Norman (Janice) and Gary Rodrigue.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Doris Rodrigue Naquin; brother, Allen Rodrigue; and sister-in-law, Lena Rodrigue.
Mrs. Dupre is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
