August 1, 2012Helen Grandin Billiot, 80, a native of Pierre Part, La., and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Friday, July 27, 2012.
Mrs. Billiot had a love for knitting and was famous for her cooking. She loved spending time with her family and was a faithful parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Anthony Billiot; children, Kenneth (Sue), Gordon (Peggy) and Rickey Billiot, Patricia (Rusty) Rock and Goldie (Jared) Vantromp; sister, Loretta (Don) Been; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Grandin; daughter, Priscilla Billiot; brothers, Joseph, Jeffrey and Anthony Grandin; sisters, Annalee Grandin and Rita Clark; and two granddaughters.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
