Heloise Monson Buckland, 86, a native and resident of Labadieville, LA., died Tuesday, February 20, 2007.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Kellis Buckland Jr. and wife, Grace, of Houma, LA.; one daughter, Cordy Talbot and husband, Larry, of Labadieville; two sisters, Anita Weeks of Houma and Gloria Simoneaux of Napoleonville; four grandchildren, Tara Gainey of Lake Charles, LA., Dean Buckland and wife, Aimee, of Prairieville, LA., Jennifer Amedee and husband, Jamie, of Houma and Jason Talbot and wife, Jill, of Houma; and six great-grandchildren, Whitney Amedee of Houma, Jack Buckland of Prairieville, Channing Amedee of Houma, Beau Buckland of Prairieville, Isaac Talbot of Houma and Adam Talbot of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kellis Buckland Sr.; her parents, Whitney Monson and Cordelia Hebert Monson; one brother, Wesley Monson Sr.; and two sisters, Elsie Monson and Helen Blanchard.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
