Henrietta Wilson Davis, 92, a native of Amelia, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, January 6, 2008.
She is survived by two sons, Earl R. Davis, Jr. and Stephen J. Davis; two daughters, Mary Louise Randall Franklin and Joetta J. Webb; one sister, Genevieve Augilland; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Davis, Sr.; her parents, Issac Wilson and Annie Morrison; one son, Sonny Davis; and two sisters, Love Smith and Georgia Belton.
Henrietta was a member of the choir and served on the Deaconess Board at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Young Ladies Benevolent Society. Her hobbies included coin collecting.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Raceland, La. with the funeral to follow. She will be buried in Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland, La.
