Henry Paul Olivier, 88, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Schriever, La., died Saturday, April 19, at 8:17 p.m.
He is survived by his sons, Wendell Olivier and wife Teri of Geneva, Switzerland, and Glenn Olivier and wife Patricia of Schriever; daughters, Meryl Roundtree and husband Leo of Spokane, Wa., and Sheila Olivier of Houma; sister, Mae St. Marie of Houma; grandchildren, Michael Olivier and wife Jill and Brent Roundtree; son-in-law, Robert Naquin of Stockton, Ca.; brother-in-law, Henry “Tiger” Clement of Houma; and sisters-in-law, Winona Posecai Olivier and Betty Hebert Olivier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida M. Freeman Olivier; his parents, Joseph Olivier and Eliza Marcel Olivier; daughter, Linda Naquin; brothers, Berwick, Randolph, Tom, Abbie and Edward Olivier; sisters, Josie Bollinger and Dorothy Clement; sisters-in-law, Dolly Babin Olivier, Ollie Lee Faulkner Olivier and Theresa Detiveaux Olivier; and brothers-in-law, Malcolm Bollinger and Alexander St. Marie.
He was a retired school bus driver with Terrebonne Parish School Board, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a farmer. He was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
He was buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
