Herbert Jones Sr., 86, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.
He is survived by his sons, Herbert Jr., Lloyd and Troy Jones; daughters, Wanda (Henry) and Tessie Brown, Rose Harvey and Sandra (Raymond), Mary, Gwendolyn, Tena (Troy) and Constance Jones and Gina (Clemous) Mingo; brothers, Clarence Sr. and Charles Jones; sisters, Geraldine Morse, Myrtle Bergeron and Edwina Jones; 46 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Elizabeth Jones.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Church of Christ with services to follow. Burial will be at Greenwoods Cemetery. (Jones)
