Hilda Chauvin Detiveaux, 86, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010.
Mrs. Detiveaux was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a reading specialist at LaCache School.
She is survived by her sons, Carl, Mark, Lynn and Lawrence Detiveaux; daughter, Marla Stark; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy Chauvin; and sister, Mildred “Cully” Hendry.
She is buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
