Hilda L. Fanguy, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, Feb.18, at 5:40 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Richard and wife Susie Fanguy of Houma, La.; daughters, Pearl Lyons of Chauvin and Betty and husband Larry Aucoin of Morgan City, La.; brother, Lester LeBouef of Houma; sisters, Anaise Fanguy of Chauvin and Dulcia Voisin of Bourg, La.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Jean Baptist Fanguy; parents, Augustin and Emily Naquin LeBouef; daughter, Melva Fanguy; brothers, Herbert, Howard and Clifton “JC” LeBouef; and sisters, Alice Mae Blanchard, Jeanne Brunet and Nolia LeBouef.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church.
Visitation is 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at St. Joseph Church with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at St. Elie Cemetery.
