Horace H. “Frank” Wilson, 75, a native of Delhi and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, April 11, at 12:04 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Hebert Wilson; son, Howard David Wilson and wife, Priscilla, of Lafayette, La.; daughters, Laurie W. Gautreaux and husband, Mark, of Schriever, La., Sharon W. Stenger of Houma and Sheila W. Poiencot and husband, David, of Dularge, La.; sisters, Betty Bourgeois of Houma and Anges Reynolds of Inverness, Ms.; grandchildren, Jason, Brad, Turner, Gavin, Christy, Bridgette, Michelle “MiMi”, Kayla, Taylor, Jenna and Abbigail; and great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Evan, Remy, Lucas, Dylan, Ricky III, Vivian and Koen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Bernice Wilson; and brother, Clyde T. “C.T.” Wilson.
He worked 40 years of service in the oilfield and retired with Baker Hughes Fishing Tools. He was a loving father and devoted husband who will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to McDonnell’s Children’s Home of Houma.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with a memorial service to follow. He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
