September 13, 2011Houston J. Callahan, 73, a native and resident of Larose, La., died at 11:48 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.
Mr. Callahan was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
He is survived by his son, Eldon (Lynn) Callahan; daughter, Jody (Carl) Cook; and grandchildren, Kendall, Shawn and Zachary Cook and Tyler Callahan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Callahan; parents, Felix and Stella Callahan; and sister, Mary Danos.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
