HTHA denies woman’s discrimination charge

Inez Becnel, 87, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Vacherie, La., died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Jr. and Louis Becnel; daughters, Linda Thibodaux, Betty Allemand and Florence Matherne; brothers, Jerry, George and Thomas Clement; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Becnel Sr.; parents, Claude and Alcide Clement; brothers, Lloyd and Edward Clement; and one sister, Mildred Ockmond.
She is buried at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Vacherie. (Thibodaux)
