Irene Verret Robichaux, 96, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died Sunday, April 15, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Marion Robichaux of Thibodaux, LA.; her daughters, Shirley Rae Bollinger and husband, Rodney, of Houma, LA. and Marlyn Moran and husband, Larry, of Baton Rouge, LA.; her brother, Norman Verret; her grandchildren, Galen, Kenny, Janet and Lori Bollinger, Carrie Gutridge, Colby Robichaux, Carla Huntwork, Char Abadie, and Devin, Edan and Megan Moran; 34 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Robichaux Sr.; her parents, Frank and Ada Mayet Verret; her son, Edgar Robichaux Jr.; her brothers, Norris, Freddie, Menson, Oscar and Peter Verrett.
She was a parishoner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
