Four men sought in Thibodaux armed robbery

Irvin Joseph Bourgeois, 84, a native and resident of Donner, La., died Monday, September 10, 2007, at 12:45 p.m.
He is survived by his wife Mercedes Hebert Bourgeois; three sons, Ray Bourgeois and his wife Beverly, Randy Bourgeois, and Irvin Bourgeois, Jr. and his wife Stacy; three daughters, Patricia Braud and her husband Glynn, Kate Bergeron and her husband Guy, and Connie Pitre and her husband Hurley; two brothers, Emile and Emilca Bourgeois; two sisters, Florence LeRay and Augustine Gaspard; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurlien and Alice Hebert Bourgeois; two brothers, Abby and Clifford Bourgeois; and three sisters, Anita Benoit, Louis LeBlanc, and Aline Ayo.
Irvin retired from Texaco after 38 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5097 in Thibodaux, La.
He is buried in St. Lawrence Church Cemetery in Chachoula, La.
