James “Jimmy” Alfred “Buttercup” Crochet, Jr., 57, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, La. died Sunday, July 1, 2007.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Trahan Crochet; two brothers, Kevin Crochet and his wife Melanie and Robert Crochet; and two sisters, Liz Fontenot and Emily Hebert.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Alfred Crochet, Sr.; one Godson, Theron James Crochet; his grandparents; Viltres and Anna Lea Crochet and Alfred and Emily Trahan and Odile Breaux.
James was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Houma. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and Wednesday, July 10, 2007 from 8:00am until 10:00am, with the funeral to follow at St. Anthony Catholic Church. He will be buried at Bayou Black Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
