James Kermon Crochet, 73, a native of Montegut, La., and a resident of Kenner, La., died Tuesday, August 5, at 5:15 a.m.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Crochet Spencer of Metairie, La.; daughter, Andrea Courtade and husband Ron of Metairie; brothers, Maxwell and Frank Crochet; sister, Evelyn Crochet Falgout; and grandson, Christian Courtade.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mackley L. and Vallie LeBoeuf Crochet.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Sacred Heart Church in Montegut with mass to follow.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
