December 26, 2012James L. “Billy” Lodrigue, 70, a resident of Berwick, La., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.
Mr. Lodrigue had a passion for raising birds. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing or taking care of his birds. He enjoyed cooking and also loved spending time with his family. He was a true one of a kind and would give his heart to anyone who needed love.
He is survived by his children, Tina and Kenneth (Wendy) Lodrigue and Billie Jo (Donald) Falgout; step-children, Robert, Michelle and Shannon Nixon, Carmen Granier, Chinchetta Toups and Dominic Guzzetta; two brothers; five sisters; nine grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emily and Lorenza Lodrigue; wife Elaine Lodrigue; three sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Twin City Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial with military honors will be at Berwick Cemetery. (Twin City)
