James Lee, 59, a native of Alexandria, La. and a resident of Cut Off, La. died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 1:18am.
He is survived by his companion of 19 years, Judy Ellender; one daughter, Jamie Lee; one step-daughter, Markina and her husband Reggie; two brothers; Floyd Lee and his wife Ann, Joseph Lee and his wife Jean; one half brother, Chris Breaux; one sister, Elta Robinson and her husband Abe; one grandchild, Tyeisha Rainey; one step grandchild, Jason Lowery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Edna Green Lee, Sr.; one son James Michael Lee; one step-son, Quincy Ellender; two brothers, Jake Lee, Jr. and Jesse Lee; one granddaughter, Keisha Michelle Rainey; three sisters, Ethal May Hall, Dorothy Lee Boyer, and Doris M. Lee.
James was a U.S. Army Veteran, who served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Coastal Bridge. He loved to fish.
Visitation is Friday, June 15, 2007 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off with the funeral to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
