Jarrod Nathan Kiger, 21, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, May 11.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Kimberly Blanchard; his parents, Ernest Kiger Sr. and Delene M. Fullilove; his step-parents, Beth M. Talamo, John “Beaver” Griffin Sr. and Steve “Frog” Fullilove; his grandmother, Betty Myers; brothers, Ernest Jr. “Snookie”, Keith and Clifford “Fi Fi” Kiger, Christopher Eriksen, John Paul Griffin Jr., and Timothy Johnfroe; sisters, Donna and Lori Ann Kiger, Jennifer Karst, Linda Davis, Lana Griffin and Jennifer Bonvillian; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius and Lucy B. Kiger and Ronnie Myers.
He was a carpenter and enjoyed playing his guitar, surfing and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Community Bible Church in Cut Off with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
