T’bonne’s Bayou Grace helping locals succeed
February 9, 2010Jason Matthew Giroir, 40, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.
Mr. Giroir loved to cook and fish.
He is survived by sons, Jason Matthew Giroir Jr. and Kalob Bryan Brassier; father, Dudley Giroir; grandmother, Ida Griffith; brother, David (Cheryl) Giroir; sisters, Jan (Henry Jr.) Breaux and Jennifer Giroir; nephew, Henry Breaux III; nieces, Crystal (Cy) Guidry, Lindsay and Brooke Giroir; and great nephews, Casen Guidry and Jayden Thibodeaux.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Griffith Giroir; grandfather, Fred Griffith; and grandparents, Nolan and Velma Giroir.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home.
He will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
