Jerry Mark Champagne, 54, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Orange, Texas, died Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Mr. Champagne was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked as a truck driver with Martin Gas Transport in Beaumont, Texas. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy football fan and enjoyed Stephen King novels, John Wayne movies and model cars and rockets.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Champagne; son, Patrick Bollich; brothers, Wayne (Shirley) and Bruce (Mary) Champagne; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 27, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
