
Lafourche Parish committee formed to fix jail woes

Jerry Peter Orgeron III, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Crosby, Tx., died Sunday, April 6.
He is survived by his father, Jerry Peter Orgeron Jr.; his mother, Elizabeth Orgeron; sister, Raily Orgeron; several aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Orgeron Sr.; his maternal grandfather, Randolph Serigny; his paternal great-grandparents, Agtha and Elwin Orgeron; his maternal great-grandparents, Epifania “Fanny” and Edwardo Rosas and Phillip Naquin.
He accomplished several things in his life; he had exquisite culinary skills, and was an extremely talented artist. Two years ago, while with the Boy Scouts of America, he was honored with the distinguished Eagle Scout Badge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Jerry Orgeron III Fund at any Community Resource Credit Union.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La., with the funeral service to follow.
Robey Funeral Home in Baytown, Tx., and Samart Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
