Jessie Mae Richardson, 82, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
Mrs. Richardson served as a deaconess at St. Phillip Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, David (Nancy) Williams and Vincent (Sharon) and Oliver (Audrey) Richardson; sister, Josephine Williams; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayfield Richardson; parents, David and Rosa Williams; sons, Harold and Abraham Richardson; brothers, Clarence, Ron, Elijah, Wilbert and Robert Williams; and sisters, Rose Graley and Enola Gabriel.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Phillip Baptist Church in Labadieville with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
