June 28, 2011Jessie Ruel Knight, 80, a native of Zwolle, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 12:52 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Knight; daughter, Honey (Jimmy) Mire; sons, Lynn and John Knight; stepsons, Glen Wilson, Adam Gregoire and Dennis and Dusty Vaughn; sisters, Carrie LeBlanc and Robbie Coker; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Edna Knight; brothers, Louis Martinez and Maurice Knight; and sister, Catherine Rivers.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La. (Samart)
