Joandell Marks Robinson, 70, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, July 7, 2010.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, the Socialite Social and Civic Club. She was retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board.
She is survived by her son, Damien (Priscilla) Robinson; daughter, Sandreka (Patrick) Walker; brothers, Crosby (Myrna), Larry and Johnny (Crystal) Marks and Reginald and Charles (Josephine) Brown; sisters, Gainell (James) Broussard and Carolyn (Alfred) Robinson; and three grandchildren, Damien Paul Robinson II and Zuri Elise and Decourcy John Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Robinson Jr.; parents, Willie and Leola Marks; and one sister, Diana Marks LeBlanc.
She is buried at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery.
