Jody Lee Robichaux, 65, a native of Lutcher, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
Mr. Robichaux was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a proud member of the American Legion. He was a 30 year veteran of the Houma Police Department and also served with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and Houma City Marshall’s Office. He loved cooking, grilling and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela St. Germain; sister, Marlyn Ruttley; nephew, David Ruttley; and companion, Judy Belanger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Olivia Robichaux; and sister, Quintella Hoover.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
