John “Johnny” Mack Smith, 74, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died Sunday, November 2.
He is survived by two sons, David J. Smith and wife Randa; and Tommy J. Smith and wife Dawn of Montegut; three grandchildren, Amber Nicole Smith, Candie Ann Smith and Somer E. Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Aryianna Nicole Dardar and Haylee Denise Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae Crochet Smith; his parents, David Mack Smith and Bernice Marcel Smith; and two sisters, Dorothy S. Blanchard and Florence S. Domangue.
He was a retired boat captain and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
