John Ledet

John “Johnny” Joseph Ledet, 90, a native and resident of Point-Aux-Chene, La. died Sunday, December 2, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Naquin Ledet; four sons, Aswald Ledet and his wife Annabelle, Charles Ledet and his wife Victoria; Daniel Ledet and his wife Myra, and James Ledet and his wife Deborah; two daughters, Angela Hebert and her husband Gerald and Susan Williams and her husband Ron; one brother, Louby Ledet; one sister, Della Rougeau; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cecile Brunet Ledet; one granddaughter, Aime Arceneaux; six brothers, Charles, Evest, Paul, Paulin, Wilfred, and Louis Ledet; and two sisters, Oline Ledet and Laise Ledet.

John was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 5, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
